 Crop Circles
  (English translation to come!)

(Norwegian origin. article)

 by Terje Toftenes,
    Norwegian Crop Circle Group.
The producer of the video film
   "Crop Circles
- crossovers from
    another dimention
..."

(translation to come)

An interview with Eva-Marie Brekkestø, making a quick briefing of the crop circle phenomenon, starting by the first known written sources in Assen, The Netherlands, in 1590.
We also learn of her very first discovery of a norwegian crop circle in a crop field at Kolsås i 1999, the same field in which the interview is now taken place. The interviewer's hint to "X-files inspired hoaxers" as an possible explanation to the mystery, is calmly turned down by Eva-Marie, by referring to the last scientific findings of melted, magnetic iron particles in crop circle soils, and to approx. 50 eye witnesses claiming to have literally seen crop circles form - by ligth balls (plasma vortices?), etc. Eva-Marie Brekkestø instead asks: "What if somebody out there is trying to communicate with us? ...What if they are trying to wake us up, ...make us wonder....?"

A growing interest in crop circles

(Norwegian origin. article)

 by: Marit Arnesen Veimo

Short article concerning the Norwegian Crop Circle Group's participation on the Alternative Exhibition on Stiklestad (in the middle of Norway) October 24-26th 2003. The article claims that Eva-Marie Brekkestø was one of the most highly requested lecturers at the fair this year, and she was even asked to hold 2 extra lectures on the subject. In 2001 two crop circles appeared in this area. It's likely to believe that this has triggered the interest in the crop circle phenomenon in this region, it's said. The author emphasizes that this is an ancient phenomenon, that 10.000 crop circles are registered worldwide, that 50 persons claims to have seen crop circles form, and that it is commonly assumed that i.g. 30% of the crop circles are false (manmaid).

(Norwegian origin. article)

 by: Eli Sund

Double page comprehensive and informative feature article about crop circles, supplemented by a separate section of pure facts on the subject. The article is partly based on Eva-Marie Brekkestø's comments, and focuses at the global crop circle situation this year. Emphasized is the increasing crop circle activity in other countries, i.g. Italy and USA. The article considers different explanations to the phenomenon, and quotes a farmer's experience as he sees a crop circle form. A neutral article, that presents (the unbelievable?) facts in a very straight forward way.
